This internship has been realized for the IT Services company SOGETI, entity of Cap Gemini Group.
The mission on which I had to work took place in the computing service of a project led by DCNS of Lorient, France. During this internship, I joined a team of 3 network administrators.
The content of the internship, whose subject is the creation of a welcome booklet for administrators, was completed by other activities.
Among those actions figure notably the support of users' demands and also the setting up of standards for some procedures.
Sogeti was chosen to ensure the local computing service as part of the project of DCNS.
The service proposed guarantee the presence of 3 admins all the time of working hours. Under normal conditions those 3 persons are always the same and have a good knowledge of the project and its environment. However, it can happen that one of the member is absent, he must be replaced by someone else.
This situation can be an issue since the replacement does not necessarily know the project and its specificities.
The challenge of this internship was to allow a newcomer to find a maximum of information in a minimum of time, in order to be operational as fast as possible.
This internship's objective was to be in a condition of assisting an engineer in his daily work.
After a first year studying in the option "Information & Communication Systems", my interest for the domain of web development has grown up. Thus, my objective for this internship was to work in this wide domain of the web.
The internship took place within the company Worldline, entity of AtoS specialised in e-payment. The objective of this internship was to join a developer team and take part in the development of the digital platform. The project concerned the client McDonald's France and its digital platform composed notably of its web & mobile sites.
This internship was the opportunity to participate in various phases of the project : analysis of the client's demand, development of a solution, tests of those new developments and finally delivery to the client in order to validate.
It is also an opportunity to follow some working methods applied in more and more enterprises (Agile, Scrum)

This project has been realized as part of a student project at the Ecole des Mines de Douai.
It consisted of the creation of a remote-controlled robot.
Every year in Roost-Warendin (a small town near Douai, France) is organised the traditional "Fête des Pureux". The highlight of this event is the performance of the story of Colas, a young man, done with "Giants of the North" (huge character often made of osier).
The CACP association, who created this event, wished to add modernity to this performance by robotizing one of the Giant (Giants are usually carried in hands or on shoulder)
The interest of such a project was to realize a team work in order to be aware of the advantages and drawbacks that it implies.
Every member of the team was assigned to a defined role according to his skills. My role in the team was to manage both communication and sponsorisation aspects. Communication covers both link between our team and the CACP association and the implementation of advertising (billboards and mail boxes of the town) in order to promote the event.
The success of the project is due to the involvement of every members of the team, the CACP association and the Roost-Warendin's city
